Visitors, who venture all the way down to the pebbled beach at the foot of the village, are rewarded not only with stunning views across the estuary, but also the sight of a lovely waterfall pouring out of the cliff face and crashing down to the sea. There is a cave behind the waterfall where legend has it that the Arthurian magician, Merlin, was born.
